Fable: Playground Games welcomes Anna Megill (Control, Avatar) as narrative lead to work on the RPG

Since the last conference of Xbox only focused on games slated for release in less than a year, it was natural not to hear about Fable. The latter may have been announced years ago, but its development is far from over, given that Playground Games tackles a genre that the studio is far from familiar with, the RPG. And to make a good RPG, it is important to manage the narration and the story well, which is why we learn that Playground Games has recruited a notable talent in this field.

A bit of Control in the next Fable

This is Anna Megill herself who announces on Twitter thatshe joins Playground Games to work on Fable as Narrative Lead (it is therefore in charge of everything related to the narration of the game).

Anna Megill is known to have worked at Arkane on the DLC Dishonored: The Death of the Outsiderbut also on the next Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora or Guild Wars 2as well as for his work on the excellent control.

A great track record that bodes well for this aspect in the next Fable, which still does not have a release date. We hope to see him again soon, even if we will rather bet on a return in 2023, at the earliest.
