Face mask: how to combine it with a hat and headband

Cap off, mask on, cap back on: on cold days, the mask requirement can be really nerve-wracking. How two simple buttons can help.

The falling temperatures are likely to make many headband and hat fans despair. If the face mask has to be put on, the headgear must first be removed or laboriously pushed to the side. Either way: The styling is done. But how is it better? With two buttons and a little manual work, the jumble of masks can be eliminated quickly and easily.

The solution, as simple as it is ingenious

In order not to have to pull the headband or hat down from the ears, the mask is instead attached directly to the winter accessories. To do this, sew a small button to the headgear on the right and left. So the face mask can be pulled over the nose and mouth as usual and is held by the buttons.

Important: Make sure that the buttons are attached in a suitable place. If you sit too far back, the mask is stretched and it becomes uncomfortable for the wearer. If the mask sits too loosely due to buttons being attached too far forward and slips down, it will not serve its purpose.
