Facing Baba: Anne Sinclair gives her very cash opinion on Cyril Hanouna’s show

Wednesday March 23, 2022, Anne Sinclair gave a long interview to Figaro. During the latter, the former presenter of 7 sur 7 gave her opinion on the show Face à Baba, on C8.

Eric Zemmour, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Marine Le Pen, Valérie Pécresse… Over the past few weeks, Cyril Hanouna received many candidates for the 2022 presidential election on the set of Facing Baba. If her show has many fans, is Anne Sinclair one of them? In an interview given to Figarothe one who presented 7 out of 7 on TF1 from 1984 to 1997 confided: “I was lucky enough to experience a period when political speech was rare, when you could question a personality for an hour. Corn I have not seen Face à Baba, I have no curiosity for this program. I’m not passing judgment since I haven’t watched it. I like serious broadcasts, made by competent journalists. I follow the presidential campaign thanks to the Morning of France Inter with Léa Salamé and Nicolas Demorand; C dans l’air with Caroline Roux and Axel de Tarlé; Elizabeth Martichoux or Alba Ventura…

In November 2021, it is in the columns of TV Magazine that the journalist had dropped: “Personally, I’m fed up with being offered political shows! I refuse most offers. I covered as an editorialist the American election for France 2 and BFMTV, and I spoke about separatism at C politique, on France 5. I infinitely love the fine and warm team of C à vous, and there are still a few areas of intelligence with Thomas Sotto and Léa Salamé, on France 2. Today, I prefer writing and music. They provide food for thought and are good for the soul.“Finally, she had analysed:”Political speech, present continuously, is somewhat devalued and becomes background noise. At 7 out of 7, there was a solemnity. The interlocutor brought a vision of the world and ideas. The 20-second interventions are conducive to invective and rant. We see where it leads…

The cash opinion of a journalist concerning Face à Baba

If Anne Sinclair never watched Facing Baba, this is the case of Patrick Cohen. Not convinced by the show, it is in an interview granted to the Parisian which he assured:We zap from one theme to another without going deeper, in a caricatural way. Hanouna says himself that we have to go to the most divisive subjects, because it annoys people to talk about the economy. It’s not my way of conceiving politics, and I wouldn’t want to be in the candidate’s shoes.“However, he qualified his remarks by adding:”I don’t condemn everything outright. I am sensitive to the argument which consists in saying that its programs awaken young people to public affairs.
