Invited on March 23, 2022 in front of Valérie Pécresse, Marion Maréchal was confronted with questions from Cyril Hanouna, concerning her relationship with her aunt, Marine Le Pen. Questions that did not please the main interested party at all.
She was one of the opponents of Valérie Pécresse. Guest on the show Facing Baba, Marion Maréchal came to confront the candidate Les Républicains. But hardly had she sat down opposite the president of the Île-de-France region than Cyril Hanouna asks him a question about his political commitment alongside Eric Zemmour: “I see in Eric Zemmour the embodiment of this rally on the right that I have been calling for for a long time (…) This is where I should be and where I believe in victory”she says, very proud.
But Cyril Hanouna wanted to know more about his relationship with his aunt, Marine Le Pen. An obviously very sensitive subject at Marion Marshal which immediately rebuffed the host : “That’s none of your business”, she chants. But the host of Facing Baba is not one to let go. Unfortunately for him, the young woman absolutely does not want to talk about the subject: “You, your grandmother, is she okay? Christmas dinner, how are you, did you go well? No, no, it’s none of your business. These are my personal stories. But I’m not going to talk of my family and personal life here. Let’s talk about politics, it’s first of all a political subject, it’s not a family story there, the subject”.
Marine Le Pen: “Obviously it’s brutal, it’s violent, it’s difficult for me”
On his side, Marine Le Pen also returned to her falling out with her aunt during her participation in Facing Baba. The president of the National Rally then confided in this subject, remembering the childhood of her niece by her side: “I have a special story with Marion because I raised her with my sister during the first years of her life, so obviously it’s brutal, it’s violent, it’s difficult for me”. Marine Le Pen will therefore have to face her niece who supports Eric Zemmour.
