Forsthofgut Nature Hotel in Leogang
Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Naturhotel Forsthofgut is located at the entrance to the charming town of Leogang in Austria. Stars like Lena Gercke, Janina Uhse and Simone Thomalla have spent relaxing days here. According to Instagram, model Lena Gercke even spent one of her first vacations there with her boyfriend Dustin Schöne, with whom she now has a daughter.
The Naturhotel Forsthofgut enchants both in winter and in summer (and actually at any time of the year). In winter, the ski slope runs right past the hotel and the Asitz gondola lift is only 200 meters away. In summer, a 30,000 square meter garden with an organic bathing pond and relaxation areas lures.

Pure relaxation in the waldSPA
You can really switch off and feel nature in the in-house waldSPA. The adults-only area alone covers 3,800 square meters (including the family spa area). There, selected materials from alpine forests meet natural ingredients from the region, pure alpine water, clear mountain air and warming fire. A special highlight is the “Bergfrische” outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the forest – a very popular photo spot – not only for Janina Uhse and Co.
Too private to post, but perfect for marveling and enjoying is a large old wood sauna with a view of the in-house game reserve. Several stylishly designed relaxation rooms invite you to linger and cuddle. Absolute feel-good atmosphere.
Innovative food concept
Actress and foodie Janina Uhse was not just a guest at the Naturhotel Forsthofgut. One reason: the delicious food. Janina is particularly fond of the homemade nut braid, but the so-called “Forsthofgut kitchen” also has a lot to offer. The focus is on the highest quality, creativity and conscious reduction.

From breakfast to dinner, the hotel relies on three lines: Alpine (delicious combinations from seven Alpine countries), R50 (all products in these dishes come from a maximum distance of 50 kilometers) and vegan (vegan cuisine is exciting and varied).
Sustainability and a responsible approach to nature are a basic attitude at the Naturhotel Forsthofgut. You won’t find plastic bottles and straws here, instead they rely on regional and seasonal food and products from their own farm. The gourmet market, which opens for breakfast, afternoon snacks and salad and cheese in the evening, is completely packaging-free. In the waldSPA you will only find natural cosmetics, in the hotel room there is always a water carafe with water from the hotel’s own spring available for the guests, plastic bottles have no place here. A special highlight: the wood for the hotel’s interior comes directly from the hotel’s own forests.
Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomites
The Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti, certified by ClimaHotel, offers a whole new definition of luxury in the famous ski area of Madonna di Campiglio. In the middle of the forest, it was built exclusively from natural materials from the region. In this way it now blends into the environment. As in the “sister house” on Lake Garda, the spa (5,000 square meters) is an absolute highlight.
One of the most successful influencers in the world, Chiara Ferragni, frequents the Lefay. Chiara even spent Christmas here with her whole family in 2019. Judging by the pictures a perfect Christmas.
The resort is a certified climate hotel and was built following two fundamental criteria: energy saving through good insulation of the walls and the use of recyclable energy with systems that guarantee high energy yields such as boilers fired with biomass and plants with combined heat and power.
In addition, the “Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti” relies on regionality in many areas. Suppliers from the region are preferred and when selecting employees, specialists from the surrounding communities are used. The region is always supported.
ECO Design Hotel Saltus
Did you know that an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level is good for your health? The ECO Design Hotel Saltus is located exactly at this altitude, on the green South Tyrolean Riviera between the Dolomites, Salten and very close to Bolzano. A clear mission is pursued here: “Live nature because we are nature”.
In addition, sustainability is also lived here in the form of tradition and culture – because traditions also have to be lived, otherwise they wither away. In addition to nature, culture is what makes South Tyrol unique, which is why Hotel Saltus preserves an authentic inn culture. These include South Tyrolean delicacies and traditional service methods. A sustainable economic cycle is lived here 100 percent and cooperation with local farmers and producers is a matter of course.

In the in-house forest spa you can relax in an environmentally friendly way, not least thanks to a breathtaking infinity pool.
Nice fun fact: guests who arrive in a climate-friendly manner – for example by train – are rewarded with a five percent discount from the hotel. The green hotel has made it its task to convey to its guests that their contribution to environmental protection has nothing to do with doing without, and that you even gain something in the process. The hotel does not reveal whether stars have already stayed at the ECO Design Hotel Saltus – so you can relax here undisturbed.
