Fall Guys: Switch and Xbox versions are almost complete and cross-play is coming mid-season

This little party game that is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout always arouses as much interest for the playersand like a certain Among Us, the game wants to be exported everywhere, on all platforms. After collaborations with Aloy (Horizon), Sonic, and many others, the game from the Mediatonic studio continues to want to offer fun for everyone. And the game will soon join the Switch and Xbox catalog.

Crossplay for all?

These Switch and Xbox versions of Fall Guys will see the light of day this year, but no official date has yet seen the light of day. The studio tries to reassure players about this:

We know that information regarding Fall Guys on Switch and Xbox is awaited […] We are finishing development and if they don’t arrive with this update, they will. »

This update is none other than mid-season 6 which has already been released at the time of writing these lines. What’s more, the official Mediatonic Twitter account announced that cross-play was no longer a dream for Fall Guys, but indeed a reality. It is already available for the PC and PS4 versions, and we have no doubt that the arrival of the Switch and Xbox versions will support this cross-play. This feature will be done with your Epic Games account where you can create lobbies where any PC player can join a PS4 player, and vice versa.

Furthermore, this mid-season 6 update comes with a new game mode called Sweet Thieves, where you will be divided into two teams: the Thieves and the Guardians, a spin-off of the well-known Police and Thief game. The thieves have to steal pieces of candy, while the guards have to catch them and bring them to jail.

We are still waiting for news on the Switch and Xbox versions of Fall Guys, which are scheduled for 2022.
