Serious crash yesterday afternoon on the L112 near Asparn in the Tulln district. Two vehicles collided, one car fell down the embankment and hit a traffic sign. A large contingent of firefighters, rescue workers and police were immediately on site. Four people were taken to two hospitals with injuries of an unspecified degree after receiving initial treatment. It was initially unclear why the two vehicles collided with each other. After the police released the scene of the accident, the severely damaged vehicles were recovered by the fire department.
