Although Fallout 76 did not convince the majority of players when it was officially released in 2018, the development studio in charge of the software, Bethesda, has redoubled its efforts to deploy numerous updates and add content to their latest installment Fallout. In this sense, they released Fallout Worlds in September 2021 and come back this year with a more than substantial roadmap. It is also articulated around the four seasons. The first elements will arrive on March 20 on most gaming platforms.
The 2022 roadmap for Fallout 76
A spring under the sign of invaders
From the beginning of spring, from March 20, 2022, players will discover that Appalachia has been besieged by alien forces, via the arrival of invaders from beyond. This will be an opportunity to participate in various public events and meet people (of the third type). Indeed, Fallout 76 is under the yoke of the alien threat. In addition, it will be an opportunity for the developers to update Fallout Worlds by adding the possibility of earning SCORE and deploying Season 8 – A better life underground.
Summer and Mortal Automata
For the summer period, Bethesda plans to put players to the test, offering them the opportunity to participate in arena battles against mortal automatons, as part of the “What Metal Are You Made Of” quest. There will also be other new public events, to be discovered in game. Finally, they plan to bring improvements to the progress of the SCORE table and a brand new Season.
Fall Expeditions
Autumn will be the occasion for players to go beyond Appalachia via Expeditions: The Pitt. They will thus have to go to Pittsburgh to discover new missions, meet new NPCs, fight new enemies and collect new rewards. On top of that, a whole new Season will be launched.
Winter and Nuka-Cola
To end the year 2022, Bethesda marks the blow. This winter, we will have the right to a traveling show thanks to the Nuka-World Tour. In addition, it will be marked by the arrival of a new Season, new events and a region boss on Fallout 76.
