Bethesda

The Fallout series, based on Bethesda’s famous post-apocalyptic and uchronic video game franchise, is taking shape. Announced in July 2020 by Amazon studios, this series led by the tandem Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, already at the helm of Westworld, has found its showrunners.

According to Variety, Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley, The Office) will take a look at the writing of Fallout, produced by Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks and Lionsgate. The first episode will be directed by Jonathan Nolan.

This series will surely be awaited at the turn by fans of the extremely popular video game license, set in a retrofuturistic post-apocalyptic world affected by nuclear war. The first video game was released in 1997, and the latest, the Fallout 76 prequel, was released in 2018.
