A formalization ahead of time

As reported by our colleagues at The Hollywood Reporter, the commission unveiled this Monday, April 8, the list of 12 projects which will benefit from $1.1 billion in aid to be produced in the state of California. Among them, Dr. Odyssey And Grotesquerietwo productions by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story, Dahmer), the program Untitled Task Force Series of MGM and… season 2 of fallout !

While the first season arrives on April 11 on the platform, the second chapter is already in pre-production on Amazon’s side, and would bring more than 153 million dollars to the state of California, by recruiting around 170 people at the same time. In doing so, it would benefit from a tax credit of $25 million.

A significant financial aid which seems to confirm that this season 2 is already well underway, even if it has not been officially confirmed by Amazon. So to be continued.

As a reminder, fallout tells an alternate history where an apocalyptic nuclear conflict broke out just after World War II, and the survivors took refuge in luxurious anti-atomic bunkers called Vaults. Two centuries later, Lucy, a peaceful and idealistic Vault resident, struggles to adapt to the hostile world of the Radiated Wasteland when she is forced to the surface to save her father.

The series is co-created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and is executive produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of the HBO series. Westworld.

All eight episodes of season 1 are available from April 11 on Prime Video.
