FameMaker and Co .: TV viewers can still look forward to these music shows

New and tried and tested TV formats will be launched this year, in which everything revolves around music and (supposed) singing talents.

The TV program in summer and autumn 2020 has a lot to offer in terms of music, singing and performances: the broadcasters will be bringing completely new formats to the start this year, as well as tried and tested music shows – an overview.

"I Can See Your Voice"

RTL is showing the new music show "I Can See Your Voice" in a double pack: On Tuesday, August 18 and on Wednesday, August 19 (at 8.15 p.m., also via TVNow), candidates will be checked for their vocal talents without their voices can be heard. Singer Sasha (48) will compete with fan Nicole (August 18) and pop star Vanessa Mai (28) with fan Picco (August 19) to take a closer look at the participants. A five-person celebrity panel consisting of Evelyn Burdecki (31), Jorge Gonzalez (53), Thomas Hermanns (57), Tim Mälzer (49) and Judith Rakers (44) can give their opinion on whether the candidate can sing or just bluff . If he can fool everyone in the end, a prize will be waiting for him.

"Big Performance"

In the second new RTL music program "Big Performance – Who is the star in the star?" (Start: September 12, also via TVNow), German celebrities try to imitate international music greats to perfection, while three stars guess who is in the star Costume could be stuck. In the guessing round are: Motsi Mabuse (39), Guido Maria Kretschmer (55) and Michelle Hunziker (43), who is celebrating her return to RTL. The celebrities on stage try to perform well-known musicians such as Jennifer Lopez (51) or Adele (32) in such a way that they offer the perfect illusion. First they have to convince with playback, then with their own voice. In the end, three stars fight for victory in the final.

"FameMaker"

"FameMaker", based on an idea by Stefan Raab (53), celebrates its premiere on September 17th at prime time on ProSieben. Another four shows go on Thursday and Saturday – then the RTL show will also be on the air. The finals will take place on October 1st. In the format, a jury consisting of Carolin Kebekus (40), Luke Mockridge (31) and Teddy Teclebrhan (36) has to decide and coach candidates without having heard a sound from them beforehand. Tom Neuwirth (31) will moderate.

"The Voice of Germany"

A tried and tested music show is also returning: "The Voice of Germany" will even celebrate its anniversary in autumn 2020 and enter its tenth season. The creators of the show have come up with something special: For the first time, six coaches will evaluate the talents. Silbermond front woman Stefanie Kloß (35) and singer Yvonne Catterfeld (40), they form a female double chair for the first time, Samu Haber (44) and Rea Garvey (47), they also form a double, "The Voice of Germany" – Urgestein Mark Forster (37) and Nico Santos (27) are also there. In the show, the candidates are judged "blindly" and solely on their vote in their first performance. Then they can choose a coach and have to fight their way through battles and showdowns to the live shows and the final. Annemarie Carpendale (42) represents new mom Lena Gercke (32) in the moderation.

"The Masked Singer"

After the successful spring season of the ProSieben advice show "The Masked Singer", which took place without an audience from episode two due to the Corona crisis, the station has already announced the third round for autumn 2020. In this format, celebrities in a wide variety of costumes compete against each other and perform on stage. A guessing team has to collect clues about the identity of the candidates round after round, the audience decides who is the last to drop his mask in the end. The new RTL show "Big Performance" is reminiscent of the "Masked Singer" concept, but whether the show will be just as successful remains to be seen.

"The Super talent"

Some musical performances could also wait for the jury of "Das Supertalent" (also via TVNow). The RTL talent show, in which extraordinary talents are sought, has a new jury cast: This year reality TV star Evelyn Burdecki and comedian Chris Tall (29) will take their seats next to Dieter Bohlen (66) and Bruce Darnell (63). Due to the corona pandemic, the jury castings planned for June had to be postponed; the recordings will now take place from August 28 to September 8, 2020 in the Metropoltheater in Bremen. There is not yet a date for the broadcast of the episodes in autumn.
