FameMaker: The starting signal for the new Raab show will be given in September

ProSieben has announced new details on "FameMaker". Accordingly, the new Raab show will be given a slot with strong competition.

The "FameMaker" show, conceived by Stefan Raab (53), is already a topic of conversation due to its concept: The participants have to convince through their performance alone – under a soundproof glass dome. The new ProSieben show is not primarily about music. "FameMaker" will premiere on September 17th at prime time. Another four shows will be on the air Thursday and Saturday. The finale will take place on October 1st, as the broadcaster has now announced.

This means that fans of musical TV formats are spoiled for choice on the weekends in September. Because the RTL show "Big Performance", in which German celebrities dress up as world-famous artists and perform on stage, starts on September 12th and always runs on Saturdays.

Records with teething problems?

The jury for the new ProSieben show is made up of comedians Carolin Kebekus (40), Luke Mockridge (31) and Teddy Teclebrhan (36). You will coach the candidates, but you have to choose your protégé without first hearing a sound. Tom Neuwirth (31), who won the Eurovision Song Contest for Austria in 2014 as Conchita Wurst, will moderate.

Assuming everything works out: As the "Bild" newspaper reported on Wednesday, the first recording of the show should have been canceled after three hours because the dome was apparently not soundproof. In the meantime, the problem has been resolved, said the broadcaster.
