Fields and meadows were flooded. “But the road was fine and many tourists took the side lanes,” said the Lower Austrians. Shortly after the town of Zagorje ob Savi, the nasty surprise came: the road was closed, the river Sava had already flooded the road. Trying to find an alternative route to Austria was futile due to the flooding.
