Steffen Henssler can be seen with a cooking show in the first from February. The “family cooking duel” runs Monday to Friday at 4:10 pm.

TV chef Steffen Henssler (49) has a new job. As he confirmed in the “Bild” newspaper, the hamburger can soon be seen again in public broadcasting. He gets a new cooking show in the first, the “family cooking duel”. Two families of four will compete against each other at the stove. Henssler takes over the moderation.

“My career began at NDR, so of course I’m looking forward to going back to where my television career began after many years.” The chef would still have time for his own restaurants. “Sure, the show only lasts an hour,” jokes Henssler when asked. By the way: Zora Klipp (31) and Ali Güngörmüs (45) will sit on the jury and decide on the 1,000 euros in prize money.

It starts on February 21, 2022

It starts on February 21, 2022, as the broadcaster confirmed. The “family cooking duel” is broadcast every Monday to Friday at 4:10 p.m. on Das Erste. Henssler should not only moderate, but also support his guests with his cooking skills.

Henssler started his TV career in 2004 with a few guest appearances at the side of TV chef Rainer Sass (67). From 2006 he got his own show on NDR, “Henssler’s Kitchen”. In addition to previous engagements with ZDF and ProSieben, Henssler is mainly active for the RTL broadcasting group. His most famous show to this day is “Grill den Henssler” at VOX.
