Family vacation takes a tragic turn – mother (42) needs brain surgery

Stephanie (42), her four children and her partner recently went on holiday to Spain. But their whole life changed there. They were just about to make their way to the airport – because it was time to return home. But at around 1 a.m. Stephanie, who comes from Wales, felt unwell, as “walesonline.co.uk“ reported.

Stephanie was taken to hospital. Tests showed that the 42-year-old had a ruptured aneurysm. Therefore, brain surgery was necessary. Her daughter Aimee writes this on “gofundme.com“ It goes on to say that the woman was operated on on July 10th and that the operation went well. However, she is still in a very critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Now the family is facing some costs. Aimee is describing the situation on “gofundme.de” and describes her mother as “the most selfless person in the whole world”. The daughter wants to “raise as much money as possible to ease the financial pressure on my family so that a family member can stay with my mother.” So far (as of June 15th) over £18,871 (around €22,300) has been raised.
