In Médiapart, journalist Fanny Agostini confirms being the source of the complaint for “attempted sexual assault” against Jean-Jacques Bourdin.
A moving testimony. This Monday, February 14, Mediapart published a long investigation into the host Jean-Jacques Bourdin currently targeted by a complaint for “attempted sexual assault”. Among the many testimonies collected in the article, that of the journalist Fanny Agostini who informs being at the origin of this complaint. The opportunity for her to give her version of the facts which date back to 2013.
That year, she took part in the Calvi Petanque Open in Corsica. It was Jean-Jacques Bourdin himself who invited her to the Isle of Beauty. One morning, while swimming in the hotel pool, the 72-year-old entertainer would have approached “very quickly”would have “grabbed by the neck” and would have “suddenly drawn to him” to try to kiss her “Many times”. She admits having been “lesson”born “not (have) shouted” and be “debated” before managing to get out of the pool. Jean-Jacques Bourdin would then have said to him: “I always get what I want”. Fanny Agostini explains that this sentence haunted her “for years” and felt it “as a threat from someone who had a hierarchical ascendancy”.

Also in Mediapart, she wanted to reveal the messages that Jean-Jacques Bourdin would have sent her between 2014 and 2015 when she was on the morning of BFMTV. “I was disturbed every morning, by the way he looked at me, the same look as in Calvi. I was also afraid to meet him alone in the corridors or the dressing rooms”, she says. The host would then have multiplied the messages with a sexual connotation between professional exchanges, like the one dated November 27, 2014: “You tempt me every morning… I love your look”. This more than unhealthy climate pushes Fanny Agostini to resign from the channel.
Dismissed from the antennas of BFMTV and RMC, Jean-Jacques Bourdin denies the facts of which he is accused. He remains presumed innocent for the time being. The Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation and another internal investigation was opened by Altice, the group holding the continuous news channel.
