And if the output of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch was the opportunity for LEGO to finally offer a set dedicated to the famous license?

A rumor can in any case suggest it.

LEGO Zelda coming soon?

In recent years, Nintendo has been a little more inclined to let LEGO offer sets based on its products. The Mario universe is well represented today, and even the NES console exists in the form of bricks. However, and despite the many attempts by fans to have LEGO bend by the Ideas program, there has been no question so far of launching a set dedicated to The Legend of Zelda. The IP was even clearly banned from the program at the end of 2022.

However, according to the site specializing in LEGO leaks Promobricksa set Zelda would finally be in development. If this is real and well advanced, it’s hard not to imagine a parallel release at some The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom May 12 on Nintendo Switch.

The tree that hides the forest ?

The source of the site is a Eurobricks forum user by the name of JeanGrayForever. The latter declares having participated in a paid survey where future LEGO sets are shown and where you must indicate the price you would be willing to pay for them. Tweezers are therefore obviously in order, although Promobricks indicates that it has obtained obviously legitimate screenshots of this survey.

Also according to the leaker, this Zelda set would be a 2-in-1 of 1,920 pieces based on the Deku Tree. It would obviously be possible to mount it to make it look like in Breath of the Wild or in Ocarina of Time. Link and Zelda minifigures are also reportedly seen in the poll photos.

Still according to this survey, sets Star Wars (Jabba’s sailing barge), Snow White (his home), Harry Potter (the Burrow) or even The Lord of the Rings (Sauron’s Tower of Barad-dûr) would also be under construction at LEGO.
