JK Rowling doesn’t miss Premiere

JK Rowling was absent from the “Harry Potter” special, and she now walked the red carpet at the “Fantastic Beasts” premiere.
JK Rowling (56) attended the premiere of “Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets” in London. After missing HBO’s “Harry Potter” reunion at the end of last year because of her controversial statements about trans people, the performance caused a little surprise. Wearing a navy blue dress with a high leg slit, the author posed confidently for photographers on the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall.
Putin interferes
Most recently, in March of this year, Rowling caused a stir with a controversial opinion on the issue of equality for trans women. The discussion about Rowling reached its bizarre climax when Vladimir Putin (69) sided with her and cited her as an example of the West’s cancel culture. Rowling fought back with a sharp tweetin which she accuses Putin of slaughtering civilians for their resistance and imprisoning and poisoning critics.
“Harry Potter” special without Rowling
In the highly anticipated “Harry Potter” special at the end of 2021, 20 years after the franchise first aired, the leading actors Daniel Radcliffe (32), Emma Watson (31) and Rupert Grint (33) met numerous co-stars and reveled in together Memories. However, the creator of “Harry Potter” was not present in these rounds. Only excerpts from old interviews were shown, and in a round of talks Radcliffe acknowledged how many people Rowling had given her books access to reading.
