Harry Potter fans can finally expect to return to Hogwarts on February 7th. “Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore” pits the headmaster of the magical boarding school against Grindelwald, a new trailer proves.

The events of the first two Fantastic Beasts films made it clear that Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) could not take action against the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen).. But in the trailer there is an argument. Much more: you even duelingwhich should be a pretty significant moment given the pair’s past.

However, the fight apparently takes place does not take place in the real world. The trailer first shows a meeting between the magicians in some kind of dream world or magical plane of existence. This happened between Grindelwald and Dumbledore

Dumbledore has been since his childhood friends with Grindelwald. The later headmaster of Hogwarts developed more Affection and feelings of a romantic nature for Grindelwald when he replied. The two shared a vision of creating a world where witches and wizards would not hide from muggles. Their falling out was the result of a Three-way duels between them and Dumbledore’s brother Aberforthin which his sister Ariana was killed.

As far as is known, Dumbledore and Grindelwald only met in 1945, when Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald in a duel and claimed the Elder Wand.

It was revealed in the previous films that this was due to the two men having a made a magical blood pact had that prevented them from taking action against the other. But apparently this information was not entirely correct. Or another of Dumbledore’s secrets.

“Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets” is scheduled for Germany on April 07, 2022 in cinemas be visible.
