Fantasy are "incredibly proud" and "very happy". The Schlager duo is happy about their fifth number one album in six years.
The hit duo Fantasy from North Rhine-Westphalia has once again made it: the new album "10,000 colorful balloons" by singers Fredi Malinowski (49) and Martin Marcell (49) is number one on the Official German Album Charts. "We are incredibly proud and very happy," said the duo, who have been performing together since 1997, in a press release. It is the fifth album in total that the pop singers have been able to place at the top of the charts since then.
"This is anything but a matter of course and makes us very happy," continues the artists. They celebrated their first chart success in 2014 with the album "Eine Nacht im Paradies", followed by "Freudensprünge" (2016) and "Casanova" (2019) as well as "The Best of Fantasy – The big anniversary album with all hits!" (2018). Thanks to the Schlagerstars goes "primarily to our fans, who have remained loyal to us even in these strange times".
