Far Cry 5 will celebrate its 5th birthday on March 27, but Ubisoft did not wait for this date to begin the celebrations. He has just made an announcement long awaited by players wishing to discover or rediscover this adventure on next-generation consoles: an update optimizing game performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Although this is not a new version next gen Strictly speaking, this patch, available today, allows you to play in 60 fps to all modes and expansions. The resolution has also been optimizedbut only the Xbox Series X will run up to 4K or 3840×2160, the PS5 being able to take advantage of a 2880×1620 display while the Xbox Series S must be satisfied with 1920×1080.
