Ex- “Bauer sucht Frau” candidate Maik died at the age of 50. With his wife Judith he went through life together since he was part of it in 2007.
Sad news for the “Bauer sucht Frau” fans: Farmer Maik is dead. His wife Judith confirmed this to “Bild”. Maik died last Saturday (April 23) at the age of 50 in his home town of Bad Sachsa in the Harz Mountains. The cause of death is not yet known.
Maik found great love in Judith
As a cattle breeder, Maik took part in “Bauer sucht Frau” in 2007 in order to find love. The search during the farm week was unsuccessful, but still met Maik’s dream woman. Well, the two already knew each other, but only after the doctor’s assistant Judith became aware of Maik through his TV appearance, the radio started.

14 years together
Only a short time later, in 2008, the two married as one of the first “farmer seeks wife” wedding couples and from then on went through life together. “My Maik is the right one for me. […] It’s nice to have someone by your side who, after ten years, still gives you the feeling that you have found the love of life, “enthused Judith at the time to RTL. After 14 years together, Judith now has to say goodbye to her beloved Maik.
