“Farmer looking for wife”
Holding hands at the barn festival, the start of the farm weeks
Heiner is back from the hospital, Heino is cautious: Late barn party in episode two of “Bauer sucht Frau”.
The barn festival starts late in the 20th season of “Bauer sucht Frau” (Monday, 8:15 p.m. on RTL, also on RTL+). At the beginning of the second episode, three applicants are still worried about their farmer. Heiner (70) had a pulse in the opening episode due to sheer excitement, and the season senior was taken to the hospital to be on the safe side. The riding instructor comes back to the barn, checked out and with the all-clear from a doctor. He greets his ladies charmingly: “You made me so tired – I was so nervous.” Finally, the “horse whisperer” (self-assessment) chooses educator Ulrike (63).
In addition to Heiner, other farmers make their choices. Camel farmer Marvin (30) reduced from three to two. He takes Eva (24) and Sabrina (34) with him to his farm, Claudia “didn’t get it right”. Yannik (22) scores from three to one. The curly hair fan chooses student Michelle (25) because of her “wild hair”. Although she didn’t even have the curliest hairstyle of her candidates.
Heino makes a late and surprising choice
Only one person can’t make a decision. Heino (50) goes to the barn festival with his three men. Inka Bause (55) taps the beer keg, even her “problem child” Heiner drinks a cool blonde. Manfred (38) and his Susanne (39), whom he invited to the barn festival without a competitor, are already holding hands.
Heino can no longer avoid making a decision. He doesn’t choose the self-proclaimed “hot guy” Björn or the talkative tantra masseur Gernot. Instead, Heino takes the reserved Markus (40) with him to the farm, who has so far remained pale against his dazzling competitors.
Farm week start with horses and trucks
After the barn festival, the farm week starts, as “Bauer sucht Frau” fans know from the last 20 years. And they also know that the farmers always want to outdo each other with the companions who bring their chosen ones from the train station to their farm.
Andreas (29) picks up his Lisa-Marie (31) in a tractor with a covered wagon trailer. His family is already waiting at his property. The lady-in-waiting welcomes her enthusiastically. The parents give their blessing as does the dog Kyra.
Manfred drives up in a gold vintage car. He’s “driving through the prairie” with the top open and his Susanne on board. In his somewhat sparsely furnished bachelor pad, Susanne wonders, not entirely seriously, whether Manfred only chose her because she is a cook.
The woman with the “wild hair” answers
Yannik arrives with a decorated tractor, his Michelle uses the proximity in the driver’s cab to get up close and personal. She hardly slept because she was so excited, but she isn’t shy. The reserved Yannik warms up and praises her “wild hair” again. When she arrives at the farm, Michelle is happy about a wide bed: “It’s not unrealistic for two people to sleep here!”
Only Marcel (29) is even curlier than Michelle. The shaggy-haired mother cow owner drives his “cuddly” lady-in-waiting Jasmin (30) in a truck. In 20 years of “Bauer sucht Frau” there have hardly been such big guns, comments Inka Bause from the voice-over. But before she goes on board, Jasmin is first greeted by Marcel’s brass band. On the farm she is happy about the lambs and is slightly irritated when it turns out that Marcel doesn’t keep the young animals because they are so cute, but rather that they will soon go under the slaughter knife.
Jenny (53) picks up her Sweer (63) on horseback. She holds a second horse by the reins. So Sweer can prove he can really ride. For the East Frisian, life is not initially a pony farm. Instead of going to the company, he and Jenny first ride to their private house. Jenny is now sleeping on the couch there so that her courtier can get the bed.
