At the barn festival, all farmers have now found their wives for the farm week. Up until the very end there were surprises and disappointments.

In the first episode on Monday, Hubert (40), Matze (34) and Lara (26), the first three farmers, decided on their chosen ones. At the barn festival part two, the less determined farmers are now at “Bauer sucht Frau” (also at TV Now) turn. Not only do they find it difficult, they sometimes revise their decision later.

Cattle farmer Torsten (52) vacillates between two women. Only when moderator Inka Bause (52) intervenes, he clears the table. With secretary Claudia (55) he likes the “Cologne mouth”, with early retiree Karin (58) the look and her willingness to move to his farm. He chooses Karin. Later, at the barn party, there is even holding hands and a shy kiss.

“One still has to go”

Sheep farmer Dirk (24) has three women to choose from. His dilemma: “One of them has to go”. It hits Elisabeth (18) because she is still so young. She sheds the first tears: “He was exactly my type”. The only slightly older Sophie (19) is allowed into the yard, as is Saskia (25), the senior citizen of the group. But then Sophie notices that Dirk is strongly “fixated on Saskia”. She resigns voluntarily.

The matter is clearer with Nils (33). He sends Katharina (25) and Vanessa (34) home. Educator Sabrina (28) is allowed to go to the farm of the suckler cow owner – because she can tackle things well. Organic farmer Olaf (60) also decides on a candidate. Service staff Bettina (55) is his lady-in-waiting. Peter (26) even made the decision. After the arable farmer reduced his selection of four on Monday, Sonja (26) is withdrawing. The student felt like the fifth wheel on the car. The way is now free for clinic secretary Kerstin (28).

Mathias (33) wants to make a final decision later. He takes two women with him, beautician Sabrina (34) and nanny Melina (23). Björn (32) also likes two women. The agricultural engineer was able to choose from five candidates. The bachelor, uh, farmer decides in favor of masseuse Dani (35) and project developer Kathrin (34), who at first giggle like schoolgirls. For Enno (25), however, two are two too many. The dairy farmer sends both Tamira (24) and Lea (21) home.

Surprising turn

Now the informal part of the evening can begin. After the tears the alcohol flows, DJ Ötzi (50) sings to it. In the relaxed atmosphere, Enno gets to know the train attendant Kim (21), whom Peter had spurned. He spontaneously invites her to his farm, she hits. Enno thinks this is “not bad,” probably the greatest possible emotional outburst for an East Frisian.

However, the barn festival had a bad end for Sandra (31). The administrative clerk was actually chosen by Mike (41). But he gets cold feet the next morning and lets them sit in the hotel.

Dark clouds on the first day at the farm?

The farm week starts in the second episode for Hubert, Lara, Torsten, Peter and Björn. While Hubert and his Andrea (39) are already looking arm in arm into the sunset, Torsten has the first dark clouds. Karin has brought her two puppies with her. Torsten already fears jealousy dramas. He doesn’t like the dogs jumping on his bed either. Peter and Kerstin get caught in the rain. When he picks her up with a vintage tractor, it pours. A good opportunity for Peter to show his chivalry. He puts his jacket around her shoulders. Meanwhile, Lara does not pick up Franziska (24) and Melanie (34) with the tractor, but very sweetly with a pony and foal.

Björn and his wives are in the sun. Although they are competitors, Dani and Kathrin get along brilliantly – which doesn’t make the decision any easier for Björn. His parents cannot help him either, as they, like their son, are enthusiastic about both of them. In order to find differences, Björn provokes with a joke. He claims that his chosen ones have to spend the night in the stable. Neither of them fall for it and react loosely. Presumably they would have accepted the sleeping place without complaint, just as they adore their farmers. When it comes to real beds, Björn finally finds a difference: one likes soft mattresses, the other prefers hard ones. At least a start.
