Farmers from Rural Coordination invaded Place de l’Etoile in Paris

Farmers who are members of the Rural Coordination block Place de l’Etoile on Friday 1^er March in the morning. According to images posted on social networks, they installed bales of straw around the Arc de Triomphe.

“After the storming of the Bastille and that of Rungis, peacefully, rural coordination pays homage to the Arc de Triomphe to save our French agriculture. Stop the co-management which has caused nearly 800,000 cows to disappear from our meadows,” do they accuse on, thus implicitly denouncing the weight of the FNSEA, the main agricultural union, on the sector. They also claim to be “converging towards Paris”.
