GIANTS Software came out almost a year ago Farming Simulator 22, a new farming simulation game for computers and home consoles. The title was a great success, with more than three million copies sold in nine weeks. But the players who missed the mark will be able to catch up.
Next month will indeed release the Platinum Edition of Farming Simulator 22with several new machines and new mechanics of gameplaythe developers detail all this:
Move your logs using winches and yards
Silverrun Forest is a new scenario featuring open-world terrain with over 20,000 trees. Players will be offered contracts to remove deadwood, but can also mark it themselves with different spray paints and symbols, which will be especially useful in multiplayer.
New brands introduced with the Platinum Edition also offer adequate hardware to efficiently move logs out of the forest. Winches are attached to tractors and use wire ropes to pull up to a maximum of ten logs. Rough terrain requires advanced machines with a mobile winch such as Koller’s K307c-H: set up on a steep slope, it uses cables hundreds of meters long to transport the logs uphill and downhill in order to circumvent difficult terrain.
Finally, new activities are on the horizon with the arrival of a hydraulic breaker. The Paladin SFB 750 is the ideal tool when large rocks block the way, but also for planting trees or transforming an area into an exploitable field. Attached to a skid steer loader, this one will crush your obstacles.
An edition dedicated to fields and forests
The new content will be available as the Platinum Edition, the most comprehensive farming simulation ever with over 500 vehicles and implements from over 150 manufacturers. Users who own the Farming Simulator 22 base game can expand and enhance their gaming experience with the Platinum Expansion, which introduces 5 new brands and 40 new machines. Some of the content will be provided by a free update available at launch.
Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Edition release date is set for November 15 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, you can already pre-order it against €31.99 on Gamesplanet.
