Fashion rules that are simply not correct

1. Patterns should not be mixed

Oh but! You only have to know how. The simplest rule for those who don't really dare: you should stick to a color family. People who like to experiment play with patterns. This is how stripes and dots look great with a colorful brocade design. Simplest pattern mix in the world: combine different stripes to each other or bag and shoes with different patterns.

2. Dark blue to black is not possible

Mom taught us this fashion myth. It's just not true. A dark navy blue looks great with black and makes the look really classy.

3. Leo pattern is trashy

Maybe that was the case in the 90s. Nowadays, there are high-quality materials on which Leo patterns simply look stylish. The only rule is that a part in the pattern is definitely sufficient. Different Leo patterns are too much of a good thing.

4. Oversize parts are not compatible with each other

Do it! One should only pay attention to the proportions. Means: The boyfriend shirt can be put in the mom jeans and the oversize coat gets the perfect look with a belt. Or what do you say about Lena Lademann's outfit?

5. White makes you look pale

Good news: Even a pale skin type can wear white clothes as long as the white is not pure white. Creamy or champagne tones also flatter light skin types and have a harmonious effect.

6. Stripes make you fat

Another fashionable fact that is simply not true. If you want to hide your pounds, you should use narrower strips. These are not bulky and make us look nice and fresh.

7. Only black makes you slim

Black always works – no matter what type of figure. But even bright and strong colors can make a few pounds disappear optically. You don't always have to rely on dark colors.

8. High heel shoes cheat slim

Unfortunately, the fact is not always correct. Trendy sock boots visually shorten the leg and make us look a little more stout. High heels with a closure on the ankle also compress the leg. Unfortunately, the paragraphs cannot make up for that.
