What would autumn be without our favorite monthly looks? Fashion lover Anna shows you which looks inspire her and what should not be missing in your wardrobes this month.

The days are getting shorter, the trees are bare and the temperatures keep dropping – the colored leaves reveal: It’s autumn. And while some of us have started to mourn summer dresses and open-toe shoes in the last few weeks, I was already secretly looking forward to the cool boots, coats and knitted sweaters that were slowly emerging on the fashion horizon. You don’t feel ready for October when it comes to styling? Don’t panic, I’ve been looking for a few favorite October looks and show here how we can all get through the first cool month in style.

“If you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer,” my mom loved to tell me. But now I know better: not every fashion trend has to be uncomfortable. This is especially true when it comes to shoes. Stylish and cozy? This works out! The thick sole of the chunky boots cheats us a few centimeters taller without uncomfortable high heels. But why stay simple in color when we can do something else? In my eyes, the chunky boots with eye-catching soles are special eye-catchers: green, red, purple, pink – the selection is limitless. Absolutely comfortable eye-catcher!

We know and love them all: the biker jacket. But now that it’s getting colder and colder, the longer version is also celebrating its comeback. Fashion professionals wear wide and long-cut leather coats and leather blazers in a wide variety of colors. Although I am of the opinion that muted colors such as black and brown best balance the unusual cut and material. The blazer or coat can also be worn in casual combinations. My key to the cool look: a plain white shirt, sneakers and mom jeans. In the evening, the sneakers can easily be replaced with a pair of heels and the look for the night-out is ready.

Sweaters have long since made it off the couch and into luxury fashion. The amalgamation of street style and high fashion plays a big part in this and allows us to be comfortable and stylish on the go this autumn. Whether with turtlenecks or batwing sleeves – in my opinion, the cozy it-pieces made of chunky knit and in bright colors make the most of it. They put you in a good mood and are a welcome change from the gray autumn days ahead.
