Fashion editor reveals
These are the 3 looks that everyone should style in spring
New month, new favorite looks and a trend that runs like a red thread through all styles. Fashion editor Ann reveals which details are important this season.
April, April, he does what he wants – this phrase has probably never been as true as it was in April 2021. Not only does the weather change between hailstorms and sunshine every minute, but also when it comes to fashion is at least mine small world just a lot of head.
Instead of looking at the latest dresses and skirts as usual and making myself comfortable in my previous comfort zone, the cursor of my mouse is increasingly moving to the pants section of my favorite online shops. Say what ??? Yeah, times and miracles still happen. But maybe it’s just because of these (at least two out of three) grandiose looks, which I, as a fashion editor with a pronounced dress craze, can’t resist.
Boho vibes
But why should I, after all, the fashion spring 2021 has so much to offer – especially on the pants front. My personal favorite: these wide-leg pants in cream white. It conjures up super long legs and creates a casual and at the same time elegant look. Add a cardigan with boho vibes, as Portuguese influencer Helena Soares shows you here – et volià! Filigree gold jewelry, a pair of sandals with medium heels and a clutch – that’s all it takes to perfectly usher in spring.
Figure flatterer
I decide: cream white is THE color for 2021 and is therefore omnipresent in my second favorite look. The slim trousers with a pleat come out big thanks to their extra-high waistband and not only add a couple of centimeters of leg length to the look, but also an amazing waistline. The sage green top with puff sleeves gives the look a playful touch. Especially nice: the high mules made of transparent plastic. They were already popular last year and luckily they will remain with us in 2021.
Color explosion
The two trouser looks make my fashion heart beat a little faster, but that doesn’t mean that clothes have had their day in my wardrobe this spring. It would be a shame, after all, there are oversize blouse dresses in bright pink that call out spring and summer as loudly as a scoop of raspberry sorbet on a walk around the Hamburg Alster at 25 degrees. This look by Xenia Adonts puts you in a good mood, is super casual, soooo trendy and, above all, a real highlight thanks to the accessories. All I can say is: purple thong heels and beige Valentino bag in knitted look (sooooo big bag smack!)
