3 ways we wear the trendy waist belt now

They’ve been away from the window for a long time! But if you want to freshen up your wardrobe in a targeted manner, you should now put on waist belts again. In 2023, the fashion world has had enough of bulky, oversized outfits that don’t emphasize female curves or the waist, and are celebrating a new homage to the middle of the body with belts. As the saying goes: “It’s all about focus” – and this is now often directed to the narrowest part of our upper body. And how? Well, we’ll show you here: In these three ways, waist belts are now mixing up every wardrobe.
1. Wide waist belt to dress
In a long dress, the personal advantages of our figure can quickly get lost a little. That’s why the statement belt for the maxi dress is one of the classic waist-hugging styles. The break in style with cute puff sleeves or oversized knitted dresses paired with a wide belt including an XL buckle is particularly beautiful. The thick statement belts conjure up a great hourglass figure in a flowing dress and also ensure that certain something in the outfit.

2. Chain belt for overalls
With a classic, wide waist belt, do you feel a little too tight? Then a chain belt is just the thing! These models are real gems and take the outfit to the next level in no time at all, even in a slimmer format. The trend belts look particularly cool with casual styles such as an XXL cardigan or, even better, an overall. This creates a cool break and leaves a large area of material more delicate and flattering. We promise: the waist belt rarely looked so fresh.
3. Thin belt with blazer
But it can also be a touch more discreet and cooler – with extra narrow belts. Scandinavian bloggers in particular prefer to go for the minimalist part, because one thing is certain: with this style, less is definitely more. The thin it-pieces are best worn several times around the waist and give classic blazers, especially oversized models, a new shine. So that the cool blazer look doesn’t lose its casualness, we recommend not to fasten the belt with the buckle, but simply to knot it – thanks to the narrow band it works.
