The current fashion trend for 2024 now lets us take a look into Grandpa’s wardrobe – because the “Eclectic Grandpa” trend is conquering the fashion world.
This season we are seeing numerous oversized sweaters, corduroys and cardigans not only on the catwalks, but also among fashionistas. The whole thing is rounded off with retro sunglasses and loafers – in the style of our grandfather’s wardrobe. Well-known people such as Catherine, Princess of Wales and influencer Lea Naumann are already familiarizing us with the fashion trend for 2024. Similar to the typical “Old Money Style”, the latest timeless and elegant movement builds on some already established trends: fabrics such as velvet or corduroy, retro patterns, XXL silhouettes and layering. In addition, classic colors (black and gray), earth tones and particularly colorful accents in the typical retro tones support the trend. By the way: The late Princess Diana also loved the retro look!

Of course, your look doesn’t have to be determined exclusively by the Grandpa clothes. The trick is to create your own style by mixing the latest trends with the retro pieces – that’s exactly what the Grandpacore is all about. For the perfect balance in your outfit, you can choose trendy sneakers, modern denim skirts or sought-after slingbacks. This way you can integrate an individual and contemporary touch into your “Eclectic” look.
