Which garment belongs in every wardrobe? A well-fitting black blazer never goes out of style – and goes with everything. During the day I wear it with tight pants, in the evening with a short dress.
Is there a perfect dress cut for curvy people? A belted A-line dress conjures up a waist in no time and is the most flattering. A good dress should be figure-hugging and show off the curves – otherwise it looks like a tent!
How do you combine the trendy pattern fashion? Stay away from the mix of patterns, it’s just too bulky! It is better to combine a patterned piece with clothes in calm colors such as black or dark blue. That looks classy.
And what goes with the pencil skirt? I always wear pencil skirts high at the waist with a white shirt blouse that is tucked into the skirt. But it can also be more relaxed in combination with a short wool sweater, under which the blouse peeks out a bit, and biker boots. I never put on skin-colored tights, only black, opaque ones. That’s more elegant.

The mother of three children is the most famous plus-size blogger in Denmark.
Her favourite color? Dark blue! This year it can also be worn with black and looks pretty good with pale skin and blonde hair. My current favorite look consists of blue narrow pants with a loose-fitting sweater and flat shoes.
Do special styling rules make sense for curvy women? Some do, for example wearing high heels. Posture and overall demeanor change instantly. Also important: don’t buy clothes that are too big. Unfortunately, many full-bodied women still think that they need to buy loose-fitting clothes to hide their curves underneath. Most of them only look unfavorable in clothes that are too big.
Are there no-gos for curvy women? Definitely! The biggest mistake in fashion history is that every plus-size woman should walk around in these terrible three-quarter slacks. The best thing to do is to wear a huge T-shirt in bright colors with a psychedelic print. Dreadful! Of course we want to wear the same fashion and the same trends as everyone else.

The fashion journalist lives in Detroit and has launched her own bikini line for curvy women.
Your current favorite trend? Midi skirts – they are perfect if you want to hide your legs a little. I also wear a T-shirt that I tuck into my skirt to emphasize my waist, a biker jacket and boots with comfortable heels.
And tights too? Absolutely no way! With longer skirts it doesn’t look good at all, with short skirts and dresses it does. But then only in black and opaque, please.
How do you find the perfect skirt? By trying on countless items – in different sizes. If a skirt has a high percentage of stretch, it often fits best in a smaller dress size.
Do you wear shapewear? Yes, shapewear keeps the figure in shape and makes me feel good. Just as important is a perfectly fitting bra that provides support and support. I recommend every plus size woman to do a bra fit check.

Pattern mix: yes or no? Yes! I love to mix different designs. My favorite outfit at the moment is a striped top with a coat with an ikat pattern. This goes well with accessories and jeans in wine red.
How do you find the perfect jeans? When buying, make sure that the jeans contain at least three percent elastane – otherwise it will be uncomfortable. In my opinion, tight “skinny jeans” flatter curvy women the most.
And how does it make it suitable for going out in the twinkling of an eye? With high heels, a chic bag, statement jewelry and an elegant blazer.

Don’t you wear pants anymore? To be honest, rarely in my free time. If so, then tight-fitting jeans. I also combine high heels and a casual top.

How do you feel about shapewear? I wear shapewear because I feel good in it. My curves come into their own and the silhouette looks more harmonious.
