The autumn is here! In terms of the calendar we might have had a little more time, but the weather has other plans and heralds the third season of the year with a lot of rain, gray clouds and cool temperatures. But no reason to be frustrated! Because, at least in terms of fashion, autumn plays our part in our cards and is already driving away some weather blues. The looks of the new season are, above all, one thing: trendy, versatile and real mood boosters. We’ll show you which three trends you can really look forward to in autumn.
1. Knit all over
We have good news: Nobody has to freeze this autumn, because the new styles are cozy. Knit as far as the eye can see – is the motto in the second half of the year. And we welcome that across the board. But not only our good old knitted sweaters can finally be awakened from hibernation. If you want to be at the top of the fashion league in 2021, you can rely on a cozy complete look consisting of a knitted top, cardigan, knitted trousers or skirt. Add a pair of cool combat boots and chunky link jewelry – and your cozy autumn outfit is ready.
2. Frog Green Deluxe
Admittedly, at first glance the new star in the sky of colors is very reminiscent of Kermit, the frog. Real fashion professionals now style the bang up and down so skilfully that it no longer has anything in common with the fluffy star from childhood. Influencers and fashion stars rely on a bold complete look and become an eye-catcher in no time at all. Beginners, on the other hand, only begin to feel a little about the trend. If a blazer or a slip dress in the color of hope is still too much of a good thing, you can also start with more muted tones – for example mint or sage green.
3. Preppy look for advanced users
As you scrolled through your Instagram feed, did you wonder why fashion professionals are suddenly wearing schoolgirls again? These are not remnants of a clueless memory party, but the new trend favorites for autumn. Instead of short mini skirts, however, designers in 2021 will be relying on pleated midi skirts, tank tops made of high-quality wool and perfectly cut checked blazers. Instead of a childish attitude, the style gets a grown-up twist in no time at all.
