Fast and Furious 10: Jason Momoa blows up the Vatican in explosive new trailer

Less than a month from its release in French cinemas, “Fast & Furious X” heats up the rubber in a new literally explosive trailer, in which Jason Momoa feasts on pyrotechnics.

Universal Pictures International France

If a film is the image of its villain, Fast & Furious X has everything to be explosive. This is what the new (and last?) trailer for the feature film by Louis Leterrier suggests, in which the antagonist played by Jason Momoa has a heavy hand on pyrotechnics. To the chagrin of the inhabitants of Rome and the Vatican, where these images begin.

As the first trailer revealed, Fast & Furious X will always be centered on the notion of family, since Dante (Jason Momoa) will be the son of the late Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), antagonist of episode 5. And he will be determined to attack the entourage of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), whom he holds responsible for the death of his father.

Forced to drive at full speed to escape a bomb rolling through the streets of Rome, or the explosion of a dam, the hero of the action saga will fortunately be able to count on his usual team (including the ghost Jason Statham, who will have a score to settle with Han, played by Sung Kang). Joined by Tess (Brie Larson), daughter of Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell).

Directed by Frenchman Louis Leterrier, announced at the controls of the 11th just before the posting of these new images, Fast & Furious X will be released in French theaters on May 17th. And we don’t know yet if the song “Gasoline” heard here will be in the soundtrack. Or if it’s a funny nod from the editors of this trailer, in reference to the fact that the main actor of the film is called Diesel.
