Hollywood star Jason Momoa gives fans a peek at the ‘Fast & Furious’ character he’s playing.

In the long-lived “Fast & Furious” film series, a number of action film stars have already given their honor. In addition to Vin Diesel (55) and Paul Walker (1973-2013) from the franchise starter “The Fast and the Furious”, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (50), Jason Statham (55) and most recently John have appeared over the years Cena (45) in prominent roles. For the tenth “Fast & Furious” film, superstar Jason Momoa (“Aquaman”, 43) is now joining the cast – and will embody the villain of the strip. In conversation with “etonline” Momoa gave a little preview of his villain character.

The Hollywood star describes his still nameless antagonist with the words: “[…] he is evil and peculiar and androgynous”. In addition, the character is “very sadistic and amusing”. Momoa calls this mixture “extremely bizarre”. He also enjoyed playing the new role in the “Fast & Furious” franchise is because he hasn’t embodied a villain for “a very, very long time”.

In the same red carpet interview, the Hawaii-born actor gives a preview of DC’s upcoming comic book adaptation Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Momoa promises more action and a lot of comedy for the sequel to “Aquaman”. He also describes the superhero film as “a journey of brothers”. Because the plot of “Aquaman 2” will revolve around the title hero embodied by Momoa and his half-brother Orm, the former ruler of Atlantis played by Patrick Wilson (49).

“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” contains – in addition to all the blockbuster action – but also a time-critical story. “There’s also a lot of stuff about what’s going on in our environment,” Momoa said. In the film about the comic ruler of the sea, climate change would be an issue, which the Hollywood star insisted on. According to the current status, “Aquaman 2” will be released in German cinemas on March 16, 2023.
