In the new trailer for the 9th part of the "Fast & Furious" series, there is not only fast cars and cool sayings but also a dangerous brother.
Also at this year's Super Bowl there was a short trailer for the ninth part of the "Fast & Furios" series, now a longer version of the clip of just under four minutes has been released: It includes everything that the "Fast & Furious" – Heart demands: Action and cars, collapsing houses, violent stunts, cool slogans, brutal scenes and vehicles that "slide" sideways through shop windows and entire shops.
Dangerous family reunification
The framework for all of the action this time offers a brother-to-sister dispute that nobody saw coming. Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel, 53) has to face the sins of his past – in the form of his forgotten brother Jakob (John Cena, 43), who is a capable contract killer, master thief and high-performance driver and obviously wants to kill his brother.
In addition to Diesel and Cena, Michelle Rodriguez (42, "Lost"), Charlize Theron (45, "Atomic Blonde"), Helen Mirren (75, "The Queen") and Michael Rooker (65, "Guardians of the Galaxy") also play . Justin Lin (49), who has already shot four parts of the film series, will direct. The ninth part should originally have started in the cinemas in May 2020, but has been postponed for a year due to the corona pandemic. The cinema release is now planned for May 27, 2021.
