19-year-old S. died at the scene of the accident. His colleague of the same age and a colleague of the same age were taken to the hospital seriously injured. A fourth person (20) was uninjured. According to S.’s colleague, the young people were previously near the train station on a birthday. «S. had left the party with a few colleagues and waited for the train at the station. Residents were also stunned after the fatal accident. “I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard a very loud bang despite the window being closed,” said resident Aida Strickler (60) opposite 20 minutes. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been clarified and is being investigated. Around 15 young adults who were previously at the party were given psychological support in the fire department depot in Meilen, said the police on Saturday.
