The year 2023 may have only started yesterday, but some developers are already on the job. As proof, during the New Year weekend, Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors), Kou Shibusawa (nioh, Nobunaga’s Ambition…) and Koei Tecmo (Ryza Workshop, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Fairy Tail…) have announced that they are working on a new video game adaptation of the famous license Fate. Title Fate/Samurai Remnant, it will be released this yearwithout further details for the moment, on PC and consoles.
A New Holy Grail War in Feudal Japan?
Produced in close collaboration with Aniplex and supervised by Type-Moon, this project still remains very mysterious. All we know at the time of this writing is that it will be an action-RPG. Moreover, if we rely on the first teaser shared by the Japanese studios, we can logically assume that this new war of the Holy Grail will take place at the time of feudal Japan.
While waiting to learn more about it, note that Fate/Samurai Remnant will have a worldwide release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
