Netflix has released an exciting new trailer for the second season of Fate: The Winx Saga. After the tremendous success of the first season, the coming-of-age fantasy series returns next month.
The reinterpretation of the Italian animated series “Winx Club” gives the adventures of the friends a dark touch. Judging by the trailer, Vampire Diaries writer Brian Young’s show gets even darker in Season 2, taking the fairies to deep abysses.
“Magic, love, fairies will no longer exist,” the trailer announces promisingly, pointing to the probably great challenge for the student alphas and the other world.
The second season of “Fate” also has more surprises in store for us. The most awaited appearance is the appearance of the earth fairy Flora, played by Paulina Chávez. We are also expecting a replacement. Miranda Richardson takes on the role of the mysterious director Rosalind, replacing actress Lesley Sharp. After the cliffhanger finale at the end of the first season, her role on the show also seems to become much more significant.
“Fate: The Winx Saga” is about the fire fairy Bloom, who learns with her friends at Alfea School how to control her abilities. They are confronted with dark forces that disturb the balance of the world. Season 2 will be released on Netflix on September 16, 2022.
