(CercleFinance.com) – Faurecia and Veolia have signed a cooperation and research agreement to jointly develop innovative compounds for car interior modules aimed at reaching 30% recycled content on average by 2025.
The two companies will be able to accelerate the European deployment of solutions for more sustainable vehicle interiors, such as dashboards, door panels and center consoles.
Veolia will start producing secondary raw materials at its existing recycling sites in France from 2023.
‘This strategic partnership will make it possible to pool the complementary expertise of the two companies for the development of sustainable compounds, strict requirements in terms of automotive architecture, supply and innovative preparation of industrial and post-consumer plastic waste,’ indicates the group. .
