A sequence rich in emotions. In a new issue of his show It starts today broadcast soon on France 2, an extract of which was revealed this Tuesday, February 20 on Instagram, Faustine Bollaert could not remain indifferent to the poignant story of her guest. On the set, the latter agreed to speak openly about the death of his father. “My brother called me to say: ‘Your father is bad, do something.’ To me, it didn’t mean anything. It probably wouldn’t have changed the course of history. but I should have taken my car and gone to kiss him”, he revealed, his voice hoarse. And to continue: “My mother welcomed me, she was in a state… (…) The first sentence she said to me was: ‘I’m going to go join him’”.
Shortly after the disappearance of his father, the guest of Maxime Chattam’s companion had to overcome that of his mother. “My brother called me back and told me the same thing as four months before. ‘Little brother, sit down, I have something hard to tell you’. And I told him, ‘I’m standing and I know what you’re telling me.’ Faced with this testimony, Faustine Bollaert could not hold back her tears. Upset by these confidences, the mother of Peter and Abbie shared the sequence in one of her Instagram stories. “This show, like a blow to the heart. Tears but so much love. How I love our guests…”, she wrote with tenderness. Many fans of the show were also upset by his guest’s story. “Thank you Faustine and your team of specialists for highlighting the difficulties, the misfortunes experienced by your guests and which I follow every afternoon on France 2”, “For me your show is more than a mission , it’s the reality of life, it’s support, kindness and a lot of respect”, some of his subscribers sent him comments.
