Favorite looks in October: We'll style these outfits straight away

New month, new favorite looks and thus new styles to ring in autumn in fashion.

The start of a new fashion season can be quite overwhelming. The stores are literally inundated with new, cool favorite items, which of course we ALL want to have. Since very few of us have a money-making donkey in the basement and still have infinite wardrobe capacities, only one thing helps: good old research and the search for looks that actually make our very personal autumn fashion a little more stylish.

In my case, that means: just go to the Instagram app and scroll down lively. In any case, the fashionistas of this world don't disappoint me again in October and serve me a lot of pretty fashion inspirations on the virtual silver platter. My three favorites? Et volià!

Olivia the Queen

I like to admit it again and again: For me, Olivia is and will remain the mother of fashionistas. Her unmistakable feeling for fashion and her way of combining the most varied of pieces with one another in such a way that a wow look seems child's play makes my fashion editor's heart beat a beat faster. But no more adulation, let's focus on my new favorite look from her. A black midi skirt with soft, flowing pleats and a loose silk blouse with a casual bow form the basis of this look, while the accessories are the highlight. Embroidered mules, raffia bags and patterned silk scarf as a stylish disguise for the mask (how awesome is that?) – isn't that the perfect everyday autumn look? Add a leather jacket or wool coat – and you have a totally relaxed style with that very special twist that shows that you are a real fashion girl.

Monochrome at it's best

Tone on tone – this is the best way to describe the motto of the Fashion Autumn 2020. Whether light cream tones, rich red nuances or timeless black – we style the same color from head to toe. Why? Because it just looks amazing, as Caro Daur, our star influencer export from Germany, proves here. Wide trousers, a light top and a wool coat with an XXL collar create the perfect autumn look in classic camel beige. Since I am an absolute dress girl, I would probably swap pants and top for a knitted dress in midi length, but the result remains the same: An ultra cool look that shows even the last doubters that monotony – at least when it comes to fashion – is everything, just not boring.

Fall is for coats

If someone asked me what my must-have number one is for autumn, there can only be one answer for me: a coat! Best made of wool, in midi length and with a tie belt for a great hourglass silhouette. Or just like jewelry designer Leo Mathild's favorite model. The green-gray coat in the trendy oversize cut is so cool that the rest of the outfit can take a back seat. Of course, sexy sock boots and geometric two-tone bags don't do any harm and elevate the look to the next style level in no time at all. What more could you want?
