FBI and Most Wanted Criminals renewed for two more seasons


Good news for fans of the “FBI” franchise: the three CBS series have all been renewed for two more seasons. The opportunity to discover even more police investigations.

If Most wanted criminals lost its main character Jess to a disastrous end a few weeks ago, the series will soon return to our screens for two more seasons according to The Hollywood Reporter.

FBI and its two derivative series (Most wanted criminals and FBI: International) have indeed all three been renewed for two seasons at once by the American channel CBS. As a reminder: FBI is currently in its season 4, Most Wanted Criminals in its season 3, the little news FBI: International in its season 1 across the Atlantic.

This announcement greatly delighted Dick Wolf, the producer of the franchise: “We are all extremely grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios.”.

CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl explained his choice when discussing fan engagement: “These series garnered a loyal and devoted fanbase, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of the three outstanding cast and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two more seasons of gripping and heroic stories.”.

According to Kelly Kahl: “The FBI franchise is one of the most successful brands in the entire television landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our #1 lineup.”. Indeed, audiences are still there in the United States.

The FBI series is the channel’s second most watched series behind NCIS with an average of 10.35 million viewers per episode. While Most wanted criminals and FBI: international are both in the top 15 of American television with more than 8 million viewers each.

In France, FBI is available on Série Club and Most Wanted Criminals is broadcast on TF1. The second and third seasons of the detective series should soon be offered by the front page.

The franchise therefore has a bright future ahead of it. Fans will be delighted to be able to find the FBI series at least until 2024.
