“We actually agree with Ardon Jashari,” said FCB Board President David Degen on Sunday. Apparently, FCB initially negotiated directly with the FCL captain, but ignored the Swiss club leadership. When the Basel team then wanted to talk to the FCL, they blocked it.

Now the national player reported in an interview with the Lucerne newspaper in this transfer posse on Wednesday, however, have their say. “I demand that those responsible negotiate with FCB,” said the 20-year-old. There is apparently a transfer fee of 5 million francs in the room, which would be a record for a player change within Switzerland. In Basel, where Zeki Amdouni has just switched to Burnley for allegedly 18 million francs, money should not be too tight at the moment.
