(CercleFinance.com) – La Française des Jeux (FDJ) announces the finalization of the acquisition of Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), operator holding exclusive rights to operate the Irish national lottery until 2034, following the authorization of national regulator last October.
This acquisition allows the French group to become, for the first time, the operator of a foreign lottery, thus being part of its strategic ambition to become an international B2C operator, both in lottery and in sports betting and online games. line.
With more than two hundred employees, PLI offers around forty games. It recorded a gross gaming product of 399 million euros and a turnover of 140 million in 2022, with an EBITDA margin rate comparable to that of FDJ.
