- Alycia Debnam-Carey is leaving ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ after 7 years.
- Her character Alicia Clark now goes her own way.
- A reunion with Madison Clark is unlikely.
“Fear the Walking Dead” fans are probably denied the big reunion between Alicia and Madison Clark. Actress Alycia Debnam-Carey announces she’s quitting zombie series The penultimate episode of Season 7 is the final episode for Alicia Clark.
Debnam-Carey had previously been rumored to be dropping out as she was cast as a lead in the Hulu series Saint X. The seventh season of FTWD, her character Alicia was plagued by a persistent fever brought on by a zombie bite. Alicia avoided her death by amputating her arm.
Episode 15 of Season 7 features Alicia in a fever dream where she is accompanied by a little girl who is actually a younger version of herself. She ends up saying goodbye to all her friends – including Victor Strand – who escaped the Tower. Alicia’s fever has been miraculously broken, but she is left alone to save more lives.
So at first glance, it looks like there’s a chance that Alycia Debnam-Carey will return to her role of Alicia, at least her character hasn’t passed away. But on Instagram, the actress says goodbye to her colleagues, the team and the fans. She wants to devote herself to new acting challenges.
From a preview, we already know that Kim Dickens will return as Madison Clark and face Morgan in the season 7 finale of Fear the Walking Dead. A last meeting with her daughter Alicia is therefore unlikely. You can see the finale from June 6, 2022 in the stream on Amazon Prime Video.
