King Felipe (56) and Queen Letizia (51) of Spain are always good for a stylish appearance together: At the awarding of the most important Spanish literary prize in Madrid, the royal couple once again appeared in a perfectly coordinated look.

Under blue skies and sunshine, they took part in the awarding of the Miguel de Cervantes Prize, which is awarded annually to a writer on April 23rd, on the anniversary of the death of the “Don Quixote” author. It is not a single work that is honored, but rather the entire life’s work of the honored person.

Felipe and Letizia impress with their classic wardrobe

For this important event in the Spanish literary scene, Letizia and Felipe each opted for classic looks in subtle colors. The 51-year-old wore an elegant, high-necked bouclé ensemble in gray, which was loosened up with fringes on the sleeves and waist area. She also wore classic black pumps and a black handbag. Her perfectly styled long bob and pearl earrings completed the outfit.

At her side, Felipe wore a well-fitting suit consisting of a dark blue tailcoat, a light blue vest, a white shirt, a dark blue tie and gray pinstripe suit trousers. The outfit was given a touch of casualness by his perfectly trimmed gray beard.
