Felipe Pereira case: fatal revenge of a mother-in-law on Valentine’s Day?

In the early morning of February 14, valentine’s day, a local resident made a macabre discovery in a cul-de-sac in this village near Grenoble. Namely, a lifeless body, that of a certain Felipe Pereira. A 31-year-old plasterer, he was killed by gunfire. Four days later, the prosecution opens a judicial investigation against X, charging the Grenoble research section and the Meylan research brigade with the case. The close entourage of the victim is targeted and arrests follow one another in Grésivaudan.

The first elements of the investigation point toward a trap. The craftsman would have been invited into the impasse for what was ultimately fake business meeting. But if three of those arrested are cleared, the ex-mother-in-law of Felipe Pereira, in her 50s, remains a person of interest. She is suspected of being the sponsor. At his side, one of his hunter friends is singled out for having executed the deceased.

A muscular search and an uncertain motive

The suspects were indicted on December 10, 2020, after several months of investigation. What was their motivation behind the murder of Felipe Pereira ? The mobile remains unclear. After a vigorous search, carried out by around forty gendarmes from the Grenoble research section, among others, and during which undeclared weapons were found, the two individuals (aged 50 and 59) were indicted for murder.
