The actor Felix Silla has died at the age of 84. He became known for his role in the TV series “The Addams Family”.
The actor Felix Silla has died at the age of 84. He lost a year-long battle against pancreatic cancer. Report that multiple US media concurring.
His acting colleague Gil Gerard (78) confirmed the sad news via Twitter and wrote: “Felix only died a few hours ago and the only good thing I can get out of his death is that he no longer had to suffer.” Gerard will miss Silla terribly, especially the great time they both had during their panels.
Gerard and Silla stood together for 30 episodes for the science fiction series “Buck Rogers” in front of the camera. Silla, who started his career as a stuntman, had his breakthrough as cousin Itt on the TV series “The Addams Family”. His face could never be seen in it, however, as it was always covered by a long shaggy mane. 1983 saw Silla in “Return of the Jedi” as Ewok.
