Fellner as a pioneer – Carinthia is preparing communities for blackout

Provincial Councilor Daniel Fellner sees himself as a champion in terms of blackout prevention. That is why the state supports the construction of so-called lighthouses in every municipality.

Fellner: “They should be supply hubs in order to guarantee contact to doctors, access to medication or the supply of food for the population in the event of a disaster.” 65 municipalities have already made use of the funding of 30,000 euros per location. In addition, alarm plans have been developed for communities.
